Paint Your Barnes' Ranch offers horseback riding lessons for all ages with classes conducted on a one-on-one basis.
Students learn horse safety, care, ground work, how to purchase a horse, walk, trot, and lope.  Intermediate 1 also
teaches halter, showmanship and trail.  Intermediate 2 teaches students to lope, barrels and poles, and numerous play
day activities. Students can select the type of program and training they wish to learn. Adult classes work with safety,

Mary Ruth Barnes, instructor, works with any level of experience
or lack of experience.  Students must be at least 6 years old.
She also teaches classes in horsemanship at East Central
University through their Continuing Education program. You do
not need to have a horse to learn
to ride at the ranch.  Safe and well-trained
horses are used in your lessons.
This is a great way to decide if you really
want to own a horse.  Boarding facility
is also available for students that own
their own horse. Everything is offered to
you at reasonable prices.  The ranch is
located 5 miles south of Ada, Oklahoma.
Call for an appointment to view a lesson and discuss
your riding program.  References are available upon request.
